Alparc
  Nr 38 - June 2011

ALPARC has launched its 2011-2012 work programme. Work has begun on all the activities planned for the two-year period: helping to establish ecological networks in the Alps through a range of projects; producing a protected areas multivision tool; developing management indicators for the Alpine protected areas; organising a variety of thematic workshops and field trips on the subject of ecological construction in the Alps, and more.

We would like to thank all those who are already involved in one or more actions. Protected area managers are encouraged to support the current activities. As always, the activities are all designed to strengthen the extensive network of Alpine protected areas by promoting the constant pooling of knowledge and large-scale joint projects. All cooperation builds on the spirit of the Alpine Convention.
