Theme: Alpine park visitor centers

The report presents the activities of the Alpine Network of Protected Areas from 2007-2008, with a focus on the topics of ecological networks, climate change and communications. It also presents the newly elected members of the International Steering Committee.

The activity report is completed by a CD-rom as minutes of the 6th International Conference and General assembly of the Alpine protected areas (October 2008, Bled/S): programme, PowerPoint presentations, presentations' summaries, internal rules, etc.

The catalogue lists the various Alpine Network publications such as:

• book of Alpine stories and legends;
• special items (e.g. a map of Alpine protected areas and the 'Mountains and Myths' exhibition)
