Alpine Protected Areas Experiences

The protected areas are benchmarks and centres of excellence in terms management of the environment and Alpine resources. They have initiated a range of programmes on preserving biodiversity, monitoring ecosystem changes in conjunction with research bodies, and promoting sustainable economic development in the Alpine regions.

With a view to pooling information and learning from innovative approaches, the library of resources provides information about various activities undertaken by the protected areas in different subject areas. View the library

If you want to share your findings or let us know about new projects relating to one of the subjects listed, please e-mail us at info@alparc.org.
