You are here: News > News from the network ALPARC > Visitor centres page now online
If you go to the ALPARC website at www.alparc.org, you will see that The protected areas section now includes a dedicated page entitled Visitor centres in the Alpine Protected Areas , which does exactly what it says on the tin. The page is currently available in English and gives an overview of the many different visitor centres to be found in the Alps in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland.
The summary table is designed to provide an overview of the range of centres that provide information and education for visitors to the Alpine protected areas. The page gives details about each centre and includes a photo. The viewer can also click on the hyperlinks provided to access the relevant web pages.
We would welcome any comments and suggestions as to what information should be included on the page, which currently only has information about a handful of visitor centres. Please send us any additional information that could be useful, especially if your visitor centre does not yet appear on the list. We would also appreciate any feedback or input you may have: contact us at marie.stoeckel@alparc.org
