Every two years, the Alpine Protected Areas come together for the General Assembly of ALPARC.

A thematic conference follows this event and the question:

"Wilderness and Biodiversity
can we leave the natural world to its own devices?"

will be discussed and examined by researchers, protected areas managers and experts.
