Each year the EUROPARC Federation, in cooperation with the Alfred Toepfer Foundation (D), awards three Alfred Toepfer Natural Heritage Scholarships, each worth 3000€, to promising young conservationists. The application period for the 2010 scholarships has already begun! |

The agents of Italian state forest association have found indications of the presence of lynx on the “Monte del Sole”. National park of Dolomiti Bellunesi, in the international year of biodiversity, launched a “referendum” for naming the animal.

Les associations d'alpinisme et de protection de l'environnement d'Italie, de France et de Suisse, ont signé un "Appel pour le Mont-Blanc". Elles demandent une région modèle pour un développement durable selon les principes de la Convention alpine.
