If you go to the ALPARC website at www.alparc.org, you will see that The protected areas section now includes a dedicated page entitled Visitor centres in the Alpine Protected Areas , which does exactly what it says on the tin. The page is currently available in English and gives an overview of the many different visitor centres to be found in the Alps in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland. |

This event, organised by the partners of the Ecological Continuum Initiative, consists in putting up a factitious wall in 6 big alpine cities: Zürich for Switzerland, Milan for Italy, Münich for Germany, Ljubljana for Slovenia, Lyon for France and Vienna for Austria, on the 20th of October 2010.
