17th Memorial Danilo Re

Adamello Park and Valle Camonica hosted from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th January 2012 the seventeenth edition of the Memorial dedicated to Danilo Re, ranger from Cuneo, who deceased in 1995 while he was on duty. The “Memorial Danilo Re ” represents, now for years, an important meeting occasion for Alpine Protected Areas staff and it comprises a sport competition (the veritable Trophy), a thematic conference and a convivial moment among participants, which symbolizes the friendship, the efforts and aims which are common to all the communities hosting the Alpine Protected Areas.

The Memorial, then, isn’t only a sport event, but also represents an opportune occasion for an international advertisement of the alpine territory for both logistic/sportive aspects and those more concerning about tourism and hospitality.
