From Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 January 2013, the Vanoise National Park will host the 18th Danilo Re Meet, named in memory of the park warden from Cuneo in Piedmont, Italy, who died in the course of his duties in 1995.

The collection of ALPARC postcards has been expanded this year and now covers nine regional natural parks from two Alpine regions in France: Rhone-Alpes and Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur. A third national park has also joined the Ecrins and Vanoise: the Mercantour National Park.

The multivision production "For the Alps" was premiered on 24 May 2012 and then presented at AlpWeek in September. It is an unique and original audiovisual work created by ALPARC and is now available free of charge for use by all protected areas in the network. It is ideal for using in visitor centres or at events.
