The selected pilot destinations are the Ägerital-Sattel (ZG/SZ), Braunwald (GL), Lenk (BE) and the National Park Region in the Grisons (Graubünden - GR). In 2009 Summer season, they will start to test if the guests can be convinced to let their own car home, by offering various new services.

If the project "Holiday withour car" ("Ferien vom Auto" in original version) is successful, it will be enlarged to further regions. Its main objectives are to contribute to the protection of the climate and to enhance the quality of the touristic regions.
