The national organisation "Réseau Ecole et Nature" organizes meetings since 1983. Every year, this event gathers 150 to 200 participants mobilized on an educational theme in the nature and in the environment.
In 2010, these meetings also have for ambition to create solidarities between persons from differents countries and to embody an European citizenship by relations builted in the action.

A l’occasion de l’année internationale de la biodiversité, le ministère de l’Ecologie, de l’Energie, du Développement durable et de la Mer, organise du 10 au 12 mai la Conférence française pour la biodiversité. Pendant trois jours, 400 acteurs institutionnels ou privés (scientifiques, entreprises, associations, élus, syndicats professionnels, agriculteurs…) se réunissent à Chamonix pour réfléchir ensemble aux processus de concertation et de décision qui peuvent concourir au succès des politiques en matière de biodiversité.
