5th meeting of the Platform "Ecological network" of the Alpine Convention

The 5th meeting of the Platform « Ecological Network » of the Alpine Convention will take place in Mittersill (Austria) the 21st April 2010.

The main topics of this encounter will be the discussion on indicators for the evaluation of the ecological network activities in the Alps as well as the preparation of the nomination process of official model regions for ecological connectivity of the Alpine Convention.

This meeting will also be the opportunity for the Platform members to obtain an overview about the interesting activities of Slovenia concerning ecological networks and about the European concept on green infrastructure for Europe. Besides that, the reinforcement of the cooperation with the Carpathian neighbours will be on the agenda.
