The black grouse (Tetrao tetrix), the ptarmigan (lagopus mutus), the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) and the bearded vulture (gypaetus barbatus) are among the most famous birds of the French Alps.
The living areas of those species are also the area for other activities such as leisure, winter tourism and others kinds of human infrastructures.
A long-term coexistence of wildlife and recreation requires awareness and involvement of all stakeholders of the mountain.
The main objective of the conference is precisely to promote exchange to find out common and practical solutions particularly about the signalisation of dangerous aerial cables in order to keep alive this exceptional heritage.
