20/10/2010 - Events of ALPARC “The Wall”: a concrete example for all
This event, organised by the partners of the Ecological Continuum Initiative, consists in putting up a factitious wall in 5 big alpine cities: Zürich for Switzerland, Milan for Italy, Münich for Germany, Ljubljana for Slovenia and Lyon for France, on the 20th of October 2010.
20/09/2010 to 23/09/2010 - Events of ALPARC - Mikulov Alpine-Carpathian exchange on ecological networks - Implementing the MoC
In 2008, in the frame of the 9th Conference of parties of the Convention of Biological Diversity (CBD) in Bonn, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the CBD, the Alpine Convention and the Carpathian Convention. In order to fill the Memorandum with life and to reinforce the cooperation in the field of ecological connectivity between the two mountain ranges of the Alps and the Carpathians a 2 day exchange is proposed by the French presidency and the former German presidency of the Platform Ecological network of the Alpine Convention.
