The International Steering Committee of ALPARC

The missions of ALPARC are defined by an International Steering Committee (ISC) which is composed of directors of the alpine protected areas, representing the diversity and number of protected areas by alpine country.

It establishes the main directions which define the international work according to the priorities and requests of the protected areas.

ALPARC has a president as well as two vice-presidents, who lead the International Steering Committee. They represent ALPARC in official matters.

The Permanent Committee of the Alpine Convention validates the working programme elaborated by the International Steering Committee each two years.
